It’s been an incredible semester full of learning and growth both on and off the court for our scholars! Each semester, we conduct enrichment trips for our scholars whose exceptional behavior and grades deserve to be celebrated. This December, we took five incredible scholars to Austin for a day of exploration, fun, and learning.
After brunch and games, we headed to Lady Bird Lake for some kayaking. 
This was our scholar’s first time kayaking and they did an incredible job! After kayaking, we took a walking tour of UT Austin where we saw the famous bell tower. Our scholars loved seeing the beautiful and historic campus and learning about UT Austin’s core values!
Before our drive home, we ended the day at one of Austin’s food truck parks. We can’t wait to go back to Austin with our scholars in the future!
